Was wondering around at JD's and I found this for Mustangs: http://www.jdsperformance.com/index.asp?...4&fcmd=cat
Wondering if this would fit an 88 or if it is specific? Is it something that can be fabricated for the Turbos? Thanks,

I don't think it will(I was going to do it on mine), cause of the VAM & turbo location. I bought the Moroso cold air kit(same basic design) but made of plastic, and had to alter it to fit! BTW, I called Moroso and talked to the R&D guys, and they were not interested in making one for our cars [Image: frown.gif]

Check in the Tech articles, there are instructions to make your own. I did it, have the K&N just above the air damn infront of the radiator and it is a real noticable difference. Cost of everyting including filter, about $50.00

Do you guys know anyone who just sell the plate like the one moroso has that is a direct bolt on to the body. That black square plate with the hole in it. I just want the plate, and then I am going to run my own 3" tubing from the VAM through the plate and down to the bumper

I just made mine out of tin I got from a heat ventilation co. Trimmed it to fit, drilled holes for mounting, used tin snips to cut out the hole. I then found some 3" flexible hose used for RV plumbing and the couplers to match, and put the filter just to the right of the rad but in front of it. Works great. [Image: smile.gif]
