spring question

I am new to the turbo coupe world, I actually bought mine off of this board about a month ago, drove 400 miles and paid $500 for it and I am extremely happy with the car thus far, it has cleaned up really well for what I paid. moving along to my question......I have a set of stock 99 mustang GT springs out of my 99 GT, if I install these in my turbo coupe will it lower the car? raise it? do nothing and make it ride stiff? I am just looking for a cheap alternative

If they're a similar length and rate to the 96 GT, then it'll increase the spring rate in the front, but it won't sit lower. And the tires in the rear will tuck into the fenderwell a little (if you're running stockers).

It'll have a "reverse rake" look, like a hard launch while standing still.

I think I may trim a coil or so off the stock fronts and use the 96 GT rears.
