Hey everyone, has anyone used the bosh platinum 4 plugs or any of the other 4 electrode type plugs. would they be too hot for the motor. If not I would like to use them.

I think the concensus here on the board is that these motors get the best performance from the Motorcraft plugs & Wires.

I did some research on them and Bosch told me "We do not make them for the TC, and do NOT use them in a TC." Enough said as far as I was concerned. [Image: smile.gif]
Stock Ford plugs work great. I've even had a set of them in for over 30k miles. Ooops! They were pretty well used up after 30k+ miles. I don't recommend doing that though, and suggest changing them every 15k like the manual says. Most people I've heard that tried platinum plugs said they don't work well in a TC.

I'm running Bosch platinum (not + 4 however) with Motorcraft wires and have not experienced any problems. When I went with non-Mastercraft wires, all hell broke loose and the old girl would not even run.
