Source on Wheels? Old Style Black BBS-type...

I periodically peruse the showroom to keep ideas flowing for future mods/upgrades/tweaks, and a question that always comes to mind is:

Where are these Black 4lug BBS style wheels from? The first car that comes to mind is Joey Hager's...

Where can I find these? I always keep my eyes open, but can't seem to find any like these. Did any other vehicles have these wheels as a stock option in our bolt pattern?

Any knowledge from anybody?

I do the same thing, look through the showroom for ideas. I've always liked the wheels on Brian Campbell's car. I tried emailing him, but the message gets returned. Does anyone know what kind of wheels those are on his car?
Another source I've found for wheels is at corral.net. There is a huge thread going on wheels with lots of pics in it. A lot of those mustang guys do the 5 lug conversion, but there have been a few wheel choices there that I haven't seen before.

That style of wheel was very popular in the 80's but has fallen out of favor today. Personally I still like them but I grew up in the 70's & 80's [Image: smile.gif]
If you convert over to 5-lug, you can use 1990-1992 Mark VII LSC 16x7 rims, they are very similar and will have the correct off-set too. There was even an LSC "Special Edition" that was available in all black with black centers.
Here is a picture of a standard silver version.

I don't know if this helps but my wheels are made by A.R.E. Might help if your are trying to search for some. Sorry I can't help more but they were on the car when I got it. By the way if you run across center caps could you let me know. Thanks Blade

I have an extra set of Epslon 3 piece modular wheels, 16X8 and 16X9 with Dunlop D40M2 tires mounted. The only thing is they are 5 lug, and are sized to fit a TBird with a Mustang rear end. This photo doesn't show them very well, but it's all I have.

Now That's what I'm talkin' about. That's gorgeous. Even has the nice silver lip on 'em. It's a shame I'm not on 5lugs...

Thanks for all the replies so far...

I had the ARE's on my 86 TC. They were two-piece rims with the studs and chrome lip. They looked real nice but were a real pain to clean.

Cleaning would be a pain, but I think the overall look would be worth it.
