So i have a wonderful 1986 TC i just did a full custom Front mount intercooler( was non intercooled), HKS BOV,Grillis boost controller, and i plan to install another tach and air fuel ratio gauge and another boost gauge. Where can i run my lines/ wires through the firewall and where do they come out? Before the front mount i did the boost controller and tried to adjust it but no matter how i turned it, it would just keep boosting up and up and up. so now im using the wastegate pressure from after the intercooler. which lead us to my next problem i reused the oem black hose the went from turbo to intake and its just too old and is leaking 10+ psi. i need to find a replacement. anything helps! also is there any other tc or 2.3t people around seattle-bellingham wa area?

Some parts stores have vacuum hose in various sizes. There are also many places on line the sell various types of hoses.

There are a couple articles on installing cone filters in the Old Technical Articles, linked on the right side of this page. It's a creative venture with several options

I have run wires and vac lines through the grommet around the steering column. IIRC it is a double wall grommet so less likely to leak and it keeps things out of sight

www.siliconeintakes.com has very good silicone vacuum hose that works well for boosted applications.

I replaced the Intercooler hoses on my 87 using Donaldson Parts sourced through a Big Rig shop, locally. Been a few years and don't remember the part numbers but here is a link to the catalogue. There is a good selection of Hose, silicone hose and adapters.
