I'd like to do a run of about 250 solid state VR's. Is anyone interested?

WOW! I doubt you'll get anywhere near that many to commit on here. But you might have good luck selling them on eBay. It's not just a T-Bird problem, more like many Ford models if I'm not mistaken. Good Luck. I did the conversion myself and have had no problems with the gauges since.

I wish you the best of luck, I had problems getting even 15 people to commit so it would be worth my time.

I was thinking about doingthis myself, but if someone cameup with a good deal they might get quite a response. It might also be a good idea to put it up on turboford too! Anyway how much are yuo looking to sell them for, that would probably determine the response you could get.

I'll take 1 to 4 depending on price.

The 250 is the cure all for the cluster? Proven? I think I installed a 7025 and it fixed the wild gauges, but burys the fuel gauge now...

250 is not a part number, it's how many he is proposing to have made.

Oh - well, count me in for two. If its gonna work, it would be well worth it. You making these yourself to custom specs?

My son is an engineer. I've had him spec a custom board to do this. This particular VR was (according to my Ford dealer) was used on Fords from '71 to '87. The current poorly working design is still available from Ford, but costs $67.

I'm willing to inventory what I don't sell here and on TurboFord. I can price the part in the $15-$20 range for NATO members if I don't have advertising cost in it. 250 units is the point at which the custom board becomes affordable.
