It was the only option I had. Couldn't keep her under the shed collectiing dust when I had the chance to trade her for fully functional 4.0L Explorer with only 98k. I wish I had the money to keep her. The good part is the guy I sold her to seems to be technically inclinded. He's already removed the dash and began welding up the leaky cowl. He said the climate control system was clogged with tiny stones, rust and insect nest. Maybe she'll live to see another day ? Otherwise, my Explorer is pretty cool. Its a manual trans (which is not a option any more) and on-the-fly 4x4 with really low miles...still so sad !
