My TC is shuddering in all gears, even reverse. Im taking it to AutoZone today, and pull the codes, but does anyone have any idea why it is happening?!??!
It doesnt stop after a few miles, or 15 mins, it seems to be suffering, under load.
Any and all help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
If any questions need asked about the situation, I will give the most details I can....
Thanx...
Mark

be sure to record the codes as they are presented and for each part of the test.
Have you still got the original fuel pump?
How old is the fuel filter?

11 = system pass, probably that the KOEO part of the test is OK
14 = intermittent loss if PIP signal by the ECA. Could be bad TFI or PIP, Could be bad plugs or plug wires
27. VSS signal voltage too low
42 = 02 sensor is always showing rich. Was the 42 a CM code or a KOER code?
Erase the CM codes, drive the car a couple days and then pull the codes again.
I would highly recommend you get equipped to pull the codes your self, either by buying a scanner or by one of the cheaper methods you can find in articles in the Technical Articles section.

All codes were taken in KOEO, but everytime the code scanner was turned on my fan began to run.
I reckon Im gonna change plugs and wires tomorrow.
How do I remove the CM codes? I'll look in tech.
Pete, the way the car is running, I dont want to do any damage that I cant afford, this is my daily driver.

The fan is supposed to run when you turn the code reader on with koeo. Mine always has done it anyway.
From the tech article: "To erase the continuous code memory codes, rerun the KOEO test, and disconnect the jumper wire or disconnect the STI connector from the commercial code scanner while the codes are being outputted."
I just turn off my code reader in the middle of code output and that clears it.
So far as shudder, is it an automatic or 5 speed (as karnage asked)? Does it do it when the car is not moving (meaning it's shaking/rattling like a bad motor mount)?

It could be any number of things like the other posts above stated. I had a simular problem and it turned out to be a clogged cat. Just something to look for if you rule out all the other possabilities.

Ooops it is a 5sp, and thinking about it more it maybe a clogged cat, It started after a good run on the interstate, and it seemed to get worse the next day or two after.
Ill be looking into that this afternoon.
