Local Oreily parts store is hosting a car show tonight from 6 to 9 PM. Gonna wake up the 'Coupe and clean her up from her slumber in the garage and put in a good showing for us Turbo Coupe nuts and to promote 2.3T powered vehicles in general. Curious to see if any SVO's show up, seriously doubt any other Turbo Coupes will be there, have not seen a single one on the road in forever. Should be fun and I know the coupe is going to LOVE the cold air this evening.
1988 Turbo Coupe: 5-speed, 75k original one owner garage kept miles.

MODS: K&N filter on the VAM, Gillis Boost Valve @ 16 PSI, Walbro 255 lph pump, Kirban AFPR, Full STINGER 3" turbo back exhaust with Magnaflow muffler, Motorsports 140 MPH Speedometer.

I love showing mine off too! I drive mine every sunny day that I have off from work. Went to a show today 145 miles away and I loved the drive. No other T/C's in my area either. I never see one at a show or on the road. Thats ok, I will represent all of us down here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Went really good. Only 4 cyl car there. Only Tbird. There was a guy with a ranchero with a 331 stroker that was running two T3 turbos from a pair of Turbo Coupes.

Didn't take a lot of pics. Everyone liked my car, most couldn't fathom that it was 250 + horsepower out of a 4 cyl.

Was overall a good time other than the 50 degree weather.

Our T/C's are starting to get the respect for the performance and styling. They are starting to realize that cars at that time didn't have all the attributes and options that the T/C's have. Let alone the performance and economy of todays cars.

I frequently take home a 1st place and have one Best in show Trophy. That from a car that is driven and has 135,xxx miles!
