The leather is falling off of my shifter knob. Has anyone installed a good looking replacement that goes well with the stock shifter/console? Can a j/y knob be dyed to match? I have dark blue interior. I'm not ready to upgrade the shifter yet.

Ford has a fairly nice leather one for the Cobra. They were around $25 a couple years ago. Threads right on.

Letting the cat out of the bag is a whole lot easier than putting it back in.

i used some meguiars on my boot and knob a few weeks ago and the boot still looks great
the knob looked good but i had to wipe it off since my hand kept slipping off [Image: biggrin.gif]

Do they come in blue? Can you dye leather and not have it come off on your hands?

As far as I know the Cobra knob only comes in black
Green keeps jacking that price up, about $15 at a time. I paid about $111 for the ones I bought a couple years ago

I got a B&M shifter knob from Summit for about 40 bucks, it comes with adapters for different threads, no problems installing it. I believe they have them in colors also.

I have one from a Tbnird SC. It looks just like the turbo knob but doesn't have the "turbo" word. It is a hair shorter also. You would never notice it unless you looked for it though.
