got the new head on, and cam installed.......shawn came by today, and we got it running......only one issue however.....it runs, but after about a minute or tow, it stumbles and shuts off.....no check lights come on, and no codes come up with the koeo test......anyone have a similar issue after replacing a cylander head??? also, the cam timing looks to be off by one tooth....is this enough to cause that proble?
left right left...the perfect shift...maybe i should call cadience when i bang the gears....

The cam being off a tooth is a problem but I don't think that is why it is shutting off.
Can you keep it going if you give it some gas.
How big a cam did you put in it?

well, the cam timing is 1 tooth off, the cam i got is a motorsport a234.....also, the ignition timing is 3* degrees off(10*)....but the car will keep running if i give it some gas. i think the stator might have gone bad....

Yes mine died after doing the head when the cam was off a tooth, and I had a stock cam.
