I pulled the spout and set it 10 before TDC as it syas in thge faqs section, but it also says you can set it 12-13 degress BTDC or do they mean 22-23 degress BTDC. I noticed the motor responds quicker when I get to 14 BTDC. Whats the best setting?

10* is the factory recommendation. 11,12,13, maybe even 14* gives better throttle response through the rpm range.

I run 14 deg base timing. No detonation even at 21 psi boost, but I am also running water injection in addition to the stock IC with forced air fan. I always run 93 octane. Every motor is a little different. Advance timing until you get detonation, and then back it off a degree or so.

Ok. I have timing turned up to 13 degrees and fuel pressure set at 42 with vaccum line connected. No more smoke and all kinds of response. My next question is the car idles at 1500rpm. Is that normal with the timing at 13 degress BTDC and more fuel pressure? Do I have to adjust something else in order to lower idle?

Ok! The fuel pressure is set at 42psi with the vaccum line connected. Timing is set at 13 BTDC. Now the car idles at 1500rpm. Is this normal or ok? Is there something else I need to adjust in order to lower idle?
