Saw a sad bird on the road today

I hardly ever see birds of our era on the road anymore so any sightings are rare but this one surprised me not just because it was a bird but also because it was actually running!

That one has definitely seen better days

I've actually been seeing a couple of 87-88 tbirds around here in pretty decent condition driving around, no turbo coupes though

sad to see it it such rough shape. I see a few 87=88 t=birds around someof which are in good shape but I haven't seen any other turbocoupes in years.

I havent seen any TCs on the road around here in SE WI in years. Havent seen any other 83-88 FOX3 platform birds (3.8 or 5.0) in a few years either. Except, of course, for mine Smile

88 Turbo Coupe: Intake and exhaust mods, T3 turbo at 24 psi, forced air IC, water injection, BPV, Ranger cam, subframes, etc., etc.
86 Tbird 5.0 (original owner): intake, exhaust, valvetrain mods, 100 HP N2O, ignition, gears, suspension, etc., etc.

There's one for sale locally. Unusually good condition for an '88. I think it's black, maybe charcoal. 130k+, I think he's aksing 42. Been for sale for months.

Oh, just noticed the one above -- AUTO and still on the road?! Wow. Wonder if trans rebuilt or converted.

In that condition though, maybe just missing a TP.

Wow.. a bird that's in worse shape than mine Confusedhocked:
87 TC: 5spd, started B234F head swap (overall setup changing), Quarterhorse, T3/T4 63 a/r, 3" exhaust, walbro 255, tubular front clip, 5 lug swap, 17x8 front/17x9 rear cobra r's, wilwood 4 piston calipers (rear only, for now), lightened 471lbs so far
