Running better but...

Well like I said it runs better now (not sputtering near as much) but when I go to get in the boost it doesn't feel like it's all there.

I have a T3/T4 style turbo from Precision and it's giving boost but the car isn't pulling like it should. There is a poppng at around 4500rpm and it trys to die. Come off the throttle and it's OK.

My cam timing is at 0 and I'm pretty sure the timing is where it's supposed to be(10-13).

It'll cruise with no prob at all,but give throttle and it bucks.

Any body got any help or ideas?

The coils the only originioal part there. But they're pretty good for life I think. Never heard of one going bad.

Isn't this the point where someone is supposed to say "Check the hoses to and from the intercooler to see if they have cracks or are folded under?"

Just wondering

Check the hoses to and from the intercooler to see if they have cracks or are folded under.

Make sure the clamps are properly located and tight also.

Did I get it right Mike? [Image: biggrin.gif]

I think so, and it comes across as a lot more credible coming from someone who actually has an intercooler.
