-BOPORT Uber E6(remember his flow test?)
-3 inch exhaust, magnaflow straight, dumps at axle
-BOPORT stg 3 head with big valves and essy 2277 cam
-blow thru VAM, 5.0 TB, BOBs upper and lower, 35# injectors @41psi, small NPR FMIC, ram air through headlight hole
-RAM clutch, stock T5, stock DS, stock 88 auto rear
-cheapie bypass set up as blow off valve
-timing locked at 27*, spout out. all ford ignition except MSD coil.
no skinnies, no slicks, no 2 step, 95% stock interior, no SFC's, stock firm ride, stock 180k block, no line loc,

im sure theres lots of stuff im missing...

wether was about 75*, 5-10% humidity, track was AWESOME.

car did three passes just like this one before i dropped the boost to 12 so it would run the 13.90 index. havent turned up boost to 18 on the blow thru yet, still tuning. i do love how it runs on the blow thru though...highly recommended.

anyways, just wanted to update the list. i should be #8 now i think. and #1 on the CURRENT IHI list. but im comin for martin0660's IHI record of 13.010...actually shootin for 12's on an IHI... tootles!

Sorry Jon.....I have not seen any activity in this part of NATO in awhile...

Congrats....sounds like the blow through was worth some horsepower....what was your previous mph in the 1/4?

Bob Meyers (Martin0660) went 13.010 with a T3 at 23psi. It took me 27psi to go [email protected]. Im really thinking that mega ported head you have is pretty efficent.

I will get the top 25 stuff updated right after the first of the year. I need to update a few more people.

well, actually all the blow thru did for me was keep AFR/s more steady(which i guess is power...). also made for a much more efficient intake into the turbo, allowing for better response.

whats all this T3 talk? im running an IHI man! i want to beat bob martins 13.0XX pass he made on the ihi. i wanna be the 1st ihi TC into the 12's, no spray, full weight(34XX+).

the real difference was locking the timing @ 27*. better throttle response on the tree, build a bit of boost on the line(5 or so PSI), and pulls better up top. im not sure why, but it felt to me like when the La3 did the timing, it was flakey. KS disconnected so i dont know what was going on. replace the comp twice, no change. go to locked, and boom! faster!

my previous MPH was in the 96 range, and ive broke 100 ONCE...on a 15.0 pass where i stalled it on the line :p . usuall is 99.5-99.8. with a 13.5XX. no 13.4's yet. i think i need to do something with my boost controller. it seems to bleed off boost early, then come back in later in RPMs, then drop off when the ihi starts to run out of steam. also pinged pretty hard on that pass, so it needs either a few more octane, or a few more lbs of fuel. AFR's were in the 13's all the way down...not good. need to shoot for 11.5's i think.

also i did remove the sway bar...heavy bastard. id like to put it back on, but maybe not that one. is there a lighter one i can get that will bolt up? maybe off a 4 cyl stang or something?

another note, i blew out a PRC, right rear on one of those passes, i have spares, just havent changed em. untill now they worked like factory. i hope the two i bought are good. wonder if that helped or hurt my launch???

theres other stuff too. i need to rip my dash apart and fix some guage issues, and my shifter handle finally stripped out...stupid used pot metal T handle...

i do LOVE my RAM clutch though...bit too much like a switch, no real way to slip it. this is annoying when trying to load it on a trailer...but on the track its GREAT.

oh well. right now im working on a DD 40 MPG 86 Tc. i still need the car, but im saving for it. the 87 will be parked for awhile...to much $$ to race these days anyways, what with my new house and all. lata
