Is yours busted?

You could go with the Ford motorsport new piece, but I wouldn't do just one. Could give you strange handling.

Are you trying to avoid having to r/r the bushings and the balljoint?

Did you hear about the Lucas powered torpedo? It sank.

You mean front arms, right? If so, they are obsolete from Ford.... have been for about 3 or 4 years. Even when they were available, they were about $250 each.... OUCH! Buying new bushings and ball joints, and having a shop press the old out and new in will be WAY cheaper than new arms, even if you could find them.

I do ALL my work my self, no oen else shas ever touched my car other then me.
i just dont want to press the bal jionts out.
do it in one shot is what i want to so really.
i can probally get a newer mustang A-arm from ford. as i claled today and they are obsolete.
Jeff- i have a ball jiont press if you ever want to borrow it. im lazy. im waiting for the refund check to come in.
i have to get
shocks, struts, strut mounts, inner bushings, ball jionts, left outer tie rod, both inner tie rods, and fornt brake hoses.
my buddies at mechanics (Napa) sai di be lookign around 5 bills my cost, but they are usally higher then Advance Auto, and i dotn get my "shop discount" there, and im stil waiting on my other two injecters to be be done, its been a week, i dotn have money for them either, so al is well. sure gonna miss my ride control tho, well maybe not!

BTW reason iw as askign about control arms is that i can get my sisters front control arms for her 94 all in one piece, so i wa shoping i could get mien the same way, its cheaper gettign the whoel arm, i dunno why.

o is it a good idea to put mustang springs in my front ende to lower abotu an inch? or am i asking for trouble? i can barly get out of my drivewya at facotry hight, but i rather have my car even (looks liek the ass drags, as all these tbirds do!)

thanks

Brian, the 1994-98 Mustang A-arms are identical to 1987-88 Cougar/T-Bird A-arms. They're a perfect fit. The 1983-86 Birds and Cats use the same Motorsport A-arms for 1979-93 Mustangs. I have a photo comparison on my site here:
