Went and spent almost 6-7 hours replacing the heater core today and was successful! The old one was so bad one of the inlet/outlet pipes broke off easily lol! Never thought I would do a heater core myself, I always dreaded it but I just followed cool cats guide and now I have a new heater core 😄

Yes. Easily the worst TC repair I’ve done (twice, now).
6 or 7 hours is pretty good. I usually start it the first day and finish it the second. But, along the way I’ll clean out the housing, examine the A/C evaporator and comb out the fins, make sure the drainage hole is unplugged, etc. Last time I also replaced the blower motor, THAT wasn’t a lot of fun.
