not that hard just get a 10 mm socket and loosen up the mount enough to twist the comp. out a little then use the socket to loosen up the bolt in the middle of harness. once you get the bolt loose all the way the harness will separate easily from the comp.No problem

I'm kind of not following.. The only bolt I saw that seemed to hold the la3 in was in the middle of the harness, and when I tried to loosen it it seemed to get tighter, both directions.

Keep loosening it. If you watch closely it will be slack for a couple of turns and then tighten up again. When it is tightened up it is pulling the connector out of the EEC. All of those pins make for a fair bit of tension to pull it out.

Thats to get the connector off. Its tight, and then 10mm bolt has to be turned quite a few times. Then there is a small 7mm nut at the bottom right of the computer that holds the white strap over it. I took this bolt out and it gave me some more room. Then just wiggle and pull the wires out of the way. Its tight, but It will come.

It's a blast putting it back in, too.
