How do you remove the side vents on the dash, I just got my new dashtop and dont want to break the vents? Do they just pop out or are they like the speaker grills?

If its anything like a mustang, the center part pops out first, then theres 4 clips that hold the housing to the dash.
I went thru 4 kinds of hell trying to get them out. later I found a well detailed removal in the Haynes manual.
Hope it helps.
