A friend of mine has an 87 TC that is having a problem with the interior lights. When he opens the door the lights do not go off. He said he was told there is a switch/relay that controls the interior lights and tells them to go off. Does anyone know where this switch is exactly?

I am guessing the car has the keypad on the door? If so, the modle is on one of the drop down panels in the trunk. I THINK it is on the driver side panel.

It does have keyless entry. he disconnected the box and the lights still did not go out. So its not the keyless entry box itself. Are you talking about the keyless entry box, or is there a module running to that box as well?

Had similar problem that was draining battery overnite. Found headlamp switch was shorting at first, then found wires touching where contacts were bent going to switch. have not had problem since. I was told could have been lite switch too was why we looked there.
