Red hot header .. ??

so i have an 88 tc with cold air and boost controller turned up only a couple pounds from what it was when i bought the car .. and after while of driving hard or normal my head glows red hot .. i also just found a crack in it so i dont know if that is causing it to become red hot but i know its not good so that is goin to be replaced soon but i was just wondering if there might be another problem ..

Cat's clogged causing too much backpressure in the system. Red-hot manifold is a symptom not a problem.

Could be several things. Plugged cat, timing way off, unburned fuel.

Suggest you might want to search the archives, there's probably a lot more info there that will help you.

When my injectors went out, mine got white hot. Very lean condition.
