We are attepmting to put our tc back together after having it completely stripped and repainted. We cannot locate anyone around here that has the clips for the molding around the rear window. Went to Ford but you all know what that got us. Anyone who can help let me know.

What year TC do you have? I have a 88TC driver and a 88 parts car. They have different setups for the rear window. My driver has the metal trim and the parts car had some sort of a push in moulding that I have seen on other TC's, and it didn't hold up well at all. Anyway, all I have available is a couple of slider clips that went at the bottom of the window.

There were two different windows that came in the turbo coupe. You either have the one that is bonded, which the moulding is attached to the glass, or the one which the moulding is completely seperate. If you can't find the clips you might want to try to find a good used glass with the moulding bonded. Lots of luck.

Try a local body shop, preferably a busy one, they should have the clips.

I just got some brand new one from a place in TX. Mr.Gs .. For my 87 TC , rear clips that hold the trim around the back window , 80cents each is what i paid . 88 TC did not have them at all . DW
