Albeit, I have not gotten the car yet, I know that the first thing i have to fix is the rear suspension. Are the springs that O'reilly's and Autozone sell good enough? I know that they sell two styles variable spring rate and constant. Both are sait to be "correct" by the parts shops. what about shocks? Is there a better shock/strut manufacturer? I have always had good luck with bilsteins. thoughts?

Linear(constant) rate springs are what I prefer because there is no change in rate during compression, with a progressive rate spring you turn in and the chassis compresses but then you run out of the soft coil when this happens you tend to get a very odd mid corner bounce and snap over or under steer depending upon which end of the car is affected first.

I ordered my springs (monroe something) from orieleys, and i ordered the variable spring rates. are the springs different for the TC's vs the normals?

on a related note, what about front springs, the front springs werent available. i have read that you can use fox body springs. any thoughts?
