Rear shocks question

I had ordered Koni adjustables for the rear and the guy emailed me saying they don't have them on stock but they do have Konis for Mustangs 87-93 and that these would fit and would be considerable better, do they fit?

He also says the shocks on 94-up mustang are the same as 88 Thunderbirds. Can someone clear this up for me?

Use the 94 up ones if your car is stock,the 87-93 ones if it's lowered.
