This is a first for me, I've never taken seats out, let alone rear one's. I'm, sure its not a hard task. Just wanted to know if anyone's got any pointers before I dive into anything. Also.. about how much do you think they weigh? 20-30 Lbs?

Anyway, any advice helps
Andrew

The front power seat bases (only) weigh 22# each. The front seats weigh at least that or more. I have no idea on the rear seats.

The rear seats come out real easy. To get the bottom portion out, just press it toward the rear and it will release. After the bottom comes out, you'll see two torx bolts holding the seat back. After the torx bolts are removed, the seat back slides up, and pops out.

Well, It CAN be easy, Those torx bolts that hold the rear seat backs at the bottom can be a PITA to get loose. They are exposed at the back side and can get rusted into place and had be a real bear to get out. I've only had one car out of 5 that the rear seat came out "easy"

well, it's worth a shot.. any idea on what t-size they are.. I'm going to have to go get some torx ends. They seem to be about the same size as the seatbelt ones.

Chuck: try penetrating oil next time it's being a pain.
