Get manual instead of power seat bases. Power bases weigh 22 # each. Manual tracks weigh about 3-5 each

Did you take off all the weights on the tranny and rear? They are pretty heavy.
NO TC and NO headaches.

I didn't see any weights on the tranny, where are they? Isn't the weight on the rear for vibration?

Seat bottom......12lbs
Seat back........20.2lbs
Total weight savings 32.2lbs
Look on cops face when he pulls you over and checks in the back with flashlight....

these things have weights in the rear ? these cars are haevy enough they dont need to lift weights lol

I've read before that the weight was for vibration and was supposed to be matched for the factory gearset in the rear from the factory. Once the rear gears are changed, the "dog-bone" as it's called, is useless they say. Personally, I yanked mine a long time ago because I felt it was pointless and I didn't notice any extra vibrations.
There is a weight on the transmission crossmember and on the tail of the T5 trans. There's weight everywhere in these cars though.
