ALL aftermarket starter solenoids are JUNK! Use ONLY Motorcraft. Even a used Motorcraft from the JY is better than a new aftermarket one. Letting the starter crank constantly will kill the starter motor in short order.

If the oil is really coming from between the block and head, replace the HG. Thats the corner of the block / head for the oil passage that supplies the head with oil.

I had a ford ranger 2.3 that blew the head gasket around the pressurized port between the block and head. that thing would leak oil like you left the drain plug out.

Well I couldn't find any other smoking guns, so I think it is the head gasket making the big mess. As hard as I tried and as many positions as I put my head in, I just couldn't see the leak clearly from anywhere. But I just can't afford to keep putting all this time into her, so Saturday the wife finally got her Town & Country MV and the Rusty Chicken needs to go. As much as I would like to keep her she has to go, too many other projects and not enough space. I am going to post her with all the details on the classifieds if anyone is interested.
