hey guys...ugh...the oil leak is the rear main seal i do believe. just a few questions.
1-will i have to pull the engine? or just drop the tranny??
2-is this a big pain in the ass to do??
3- why did this happen at christmas? lol damn my luck....
oh yea...the guy i got to put my clutch in a few months back said he was going to replace the rear main seal...but it looked new...what a dumbass...

Mods- single 2.5 inch exaust with highflow cat and Apex bullit muffler, Saab 9000 front mount IC,Centerforce II clutch kit, Gillis BV set at 19psi,K&N on VAM, Hurst shorthrow shifter.
BEST ET-(1/8)-9.7 @71.9 mph

1. drop the tranny

2. see #1 [Image: biggrin.gif]. The seal part is a piece of cake.

3. Santa knows you haven't been good this year.
Seriously, these things are kind of notorious for rear main seal leaks. Make absolutely sure it's actually the RM seal that's leaking. Almost any leaking oil will blow back to that area and look like a RM seal leak.

lol, thanks Pete...and..DUH, i havnt been good this year...but whats unusual from any other Christmas??...oh yea...i drive a Ford [Image: rolleyes.gif] Ill be sure that its the RMS before pulling the trannie...but thanks for the help!!!
