rear main seal

I have read somewhere on the board about using a rear main seal from a 5.0 mustang because it has a dual sealing surface. My question is what "year" mustang seal do i purchase. I searche dthe archives but couldnt find anything.

The Mustang 5.0 & the Tbird 2.3 are the same rear mail seal. If you get one, you just want to make sure that it has a double lip like the factory ones. Chiacgo Rawhide is sold at Napa & the last 2 I used in the 87 & 88. They run around $13.00
