Rear End Alignment

I notice some paint damage (pissed off) on the drivers side tire well and heard some tire rub going over a big dip in the road. When I compared the 2 sides together I noticed that the tire on the drivers side is about 1/2" closer to the outside of the wheel well and 3/8" closer towards the back of the well. This appears to be the source of the tire rub. How do I correct this?

Keith, There is not an adjustment that I am aware of for the rear of these cars. What kind of shape are your rear bushings in? Sounds like you have one worn allowing the rear axle to shift a little. Or, it might be a bent rear control arm that is the culprit as well. Hope this helps...Tommy

It looks like I have to replace all of the bushings to do it right. Since it messed up my paint around the fender well I'm going have to deal with it.

The rear bushings are the eazy ones. The fronts are the PITA. I had the rears done in a couple of hours less the time I spent cleaning everything up and painting it all. I heated the old ones out and the new ones went right in with the supplied grease. The ones I got are the energy suspension ones. Awsome feel after the swap.
