I am getting ready to replace my turbo. The metal gasket that goes inbetween the turbo and the manifold has a raised beed area on it. Does it matter what way it goes on? I don't see why it would matter but thought I would ask anyway.

Details details!! [Image: biggrin.gif] Wes, I don't know but I never let it bother me. It's going to seal as long as those damn nuts don't come loose.

Letting the cat out of the bag is a whole lot easier than putting it back in.

Funny you should say that...... I am also hunting around for 1 stud to replace a damaged one. And of course it is one that holds on the supprt bracket for the turbo. Damaged it while taking off the old turbo.
I don't want to have to go to Ford to get it.
So far noone has it!

Make one. Just get a stud (lenght of metric rod) the same length, double nut it for the stop and install, then put the bracket on.
