tryin to get this done while its still light out. I just picked up some motorcraft platinum plugs and according to the gapper i have its set at about .054. I've read that it should be at the most .032. should i just leave them like they are? or push em down or whatever you do to make it the gap smaller? I'm running about 14psi. Thanks

You should return them, get copper plugs and gap those to .032
I ran some Autolite plats, but others have had problem with platinum plugs
YMMV

You Just tap them down to set gap or bend them using the proper gap tool. Just dont break them off.
