I just got a badd oil leak today.Had to uturn it and take off work.I'm going through about a quart in 2 miles and leaving a trail behind me on the road.I can't tell what is leaking. It seems to be somewhere around the oil sending unit(just replaced)and around the same height. And its dripping bad.Any ideas what else is around that area.

It could easily be the oil feed line to the turbo . Either loose or craked.

Are you talking about the low oil level sensor in the pan? If so, did you replace the gasket that goes with it?
Or are you talking about the gauge sending unit, higher up on the block?

I got a bad oil leak inthe same general area.
I look at it as an additional opportunity to get more familiar with an engine I'm real close to wishing I never see again [Image: biggrin.gif]

Well seems like the oil feed line to turbo is shot.Must be a 150,000 mile curse.I think I bought and used enough oil to supply Nato in the last day.Now I hope it rains soon to cover up that 4 mile long trail of oil leading to my house. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
