Struts are driving me nuts.I was thankful to find this thread on the message board. I have been trying to find PRC struts and shocks for my 88 driver for almost a month.
I called and left a message at extension 216 on the Tociko phone # (310) 898 3080. I identified myself as a NATO member and asked for a phone call back. It looks like I will have to go the non-PRC route. I still have hopes of getting the (SP) special order parts from Gabriel. My contact at Car Quest has been trying to get a ship date for over 2 weeks now.

I know this is an old thread but did anything ever come of being able to rebuild the adjustable shocks for the turbo coupe? Mine are toast as probably all of them are by now. Thanks in advance!

To be precise, Ray said in the OP's post that they couldn't be rebuilt. Although I didn't specifically see this answer, I would guess he was talking about Tokico actually remanufacturing the PRC struts.

Does that sound accurate?

This all happened before my time at NATO, and I would bet that most if not nearly all those that responded 20 years ago either no longer have their cars or might not even be with us any more.

I would be all for it. Count me in.

1987 Turbo Coupe w/T5OD, 8.8 axle, grey smoke; most options. Got it in 1991 with 41K miles: 3 turbos, 2 heater cores, 3 T5OD full rebuilds, 6 clutches, 1 head gasket, 2 Teves II ABS units, etc. later....
