Rattling Noise

Ok, going to throw this one out to you to try and get some opinions. I have a rattling noise upon acceleration. I cannot pinpoint where it is coming from but is definitely loud. It also seems to get louder as the car warms up. There is no noise at idle or no noise if you rev the motor while under the hood but when you drive it, you can hear it very clear on the driver's side but it is hard to tell if it is coming from under the car or from under the hood. It doesn't seem to affect performance any and has been going on now for about 10 months. Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

Likewise, I have a similar light rattling noise in mine. It's not visibly hurting anyhting, and performance remains consistent.
Just curious. It's not s'posed ta rattle.

I had a similiar problem like this, couldn't find out where it was. I later found out the IAC valve was loose, behind the throttle. It sounded like it was coming from the dash, but it was under the hood, very close to it. That was just one of my experiences though, sounds just like it.

I agree with my esteemed "elder" in his theoretical conclusions for a potential and likely variable that may be the source for your condition [Image: biggrin.gif]
