i was lookin at a ranger at a junk yard with a 2.3 and seen that they have an aluminum water pump would these work on are cars or not? i just don't know if they would flow enough water or not. i just am wanting the wait savings. thanks for the help

If it is the same 2.3 block, then why wouldn't it? What year Ranger is it?

i'm not sure what year it is. i think a 94 or newer. i can get one for about $20. so i might buy it to try and see what happens. and see if it will work.
