Ranger Roller Cam

I am being offered a 1989 Ford Ranger engine. I think its the 2.3l HSC. Is this the roller cam type? It has the daul coil pack igniton with 8 plugs.
I was told it is seized, but i think it would be worth to get the roller cam out, if it is not hurt.
Main question is this the roller cam type and should i get it or just leave it, and can a roller cam seize up?!
Im gettin the head for cheap, i mean cheap.
Sorry for the multiple questions

Crane makes a cam for these cars. that's what i'm going with, just because it is a cam for a turbocharged motor.

My notes say 89 and up to 93 Rangers for the RR cam. I would pop the valve cover and look at it given that it is supposedly siezed. Anything could be wrong with it.

It isnt a 2.3 HSC if it was in a Ranger. The 2.3 OHC was used in the Rangers, while the 2.3 HSC (a pushrod motor) was used in the Tempo / Topaz FWD econocrap cars, and a 2.5 HSC was the base motor in the early Taurus. Nothing interchanges between the 2.3 HSC and 2.3 OHC
