I have an 88 turbo coupe and the memory for the clock and the radio doesn't hold. Everytime I turn the car off, it looses it's memory. I verified the radio is good and the fuse is not blown. What could be wrong. Please help. Thanks Gerard

There are really three power wires for the radio and the clock. Basically one is for lamps, one is for memory keep alive, and one actually powers the devices when the car is on.
Sounds like the memory keep alive line has no power; it should be hot always.
For the clock it appears to be circuit 54, a light green/yellow wire that is fed from a 15 amp fuse at the fuse panel (may be fuse number 8). The same circuit also appears to power the radio memory keep-alive function as well.
