When I first got my TC, only the front speakers worked with the aftermarket stereo that had been installed and the amp was lying half disconnected in the trunk. In addition, the right and left signal on the front speakers was reversed. The system was also not holding any memory, so I'm guessing constant power wasn't properly hooked up.
I ran new wire to the rear speakers, and corrected the left/right signal on the front speakers. Everything was working great, until...
When driving and listening to the radio, I noticed my signal wasn't very strong, and also noticed that I hadn't put my antenna all the way up. When I hit the switch for the antenna, I heard a pop and both the antenna and the radio went dead.
The fuse for the radio was blown, and I replaced that, but no go. Before I go outside and freeze tracking down wires, can anyone recommend some common places to look that would knock out both the radio and antenna?
