I have a 87 TC with automatic. I replaced my old radaitor and now it leaks where both transmissions lines connect. The Ford dealer said I may have broken a piece of plactic inside the nut. They said Ford now has a replacement nut. Is this ture? How can I stop the leak? Second, my power seats just quit working. The fuse is not blown, where should I check?
Thanks,
Randy

Both front seats have power. They worked fine untill I ran the passenger seat forward. Now both are out of order.

Try the new nut.

Do you have one or both power seats? Does any of the power seat features work or are they/ it totally dead?

Randy,

Those nuts/connectors have an o-ring inside them that seals the nut to the line. To remove them, get a fuel line tool and release the clip inside the nut with it. Then, just slide your new connector on. I had the same problem with one on my TC. I don't know how much Ford charges for the connectors. I bought mine from a transmission shop for around $10.
