R134a AC Conversion by Hose Wizard (Glen Hall)

First Attempt: Ordered an AC conversion kit as an experiment before my paint job was done. Since it was a kit for a Mustang, it didn't fit properly. Was my fault, but it was worth a try anyway. Both Glen and I knew this going into the deal and he had no problem taking the initial kit back.

Second Attempt: I went to Glen's shop in Loganville, GA during my cross-country trip to the Carlisle 2004 All Ford NAtionals. In just a few hours Glen figured out all the necessary correct parts, hose angles, and hose lengths and got my 87 TC converted and "blowing cold". SUCCESS!

Glen Hall IS the "Hose Wizard" and his new R134a air conditioning conversion kit for 87 & 88 TC's is fantastic! Fits good, looks good, and is colder than my factory system ever was! On top of that, Glen is really a Georgia "good old boy" and will bend over backwards to help you get the kit installed properly and working perfectly. I'd deal with this Southern Gentleman anytime!

The kit includes a new condenser (the part in front of the radiator), a new compressor, a new accumulator, and new custom-fit hoses to insure no leaks. For around $800, it's a bargain!

I liked Joe Cool's set up so much, I ordered a system for my '88. Glenn is just like Joe said, a true gentleman.

I wish Glenn was still in business but it appears the company has been dissolved. Has anyone found any other bracket to adapt a Sanden or any other available compressor to the 2.3 Lima engine?
