R&R Power Pump Pulley

I am in the process of removing and replacing my power pump pulley. I know that the pulley has to line up with the other pullies for belt alignment. My question is, is there a place on the shaft where the pulley automatically stops and it's in alignment or do you have to keep going to car to check alignment?
Thanks In Advance,

There is a stop on the shaft that positions the pulley in the correct place.

I assume you have or are renting a puller / installer tool, as it is nearly impossible to remove / install the pulley without one!
