Sorry..Don't have a link , but I know a number of people whom have tried this product..and are far more impressed with just doing the R-134A upgrade and being done with it.

I myself have done the R-134A upgrade on my 1988 Crown Victoria Police Package....and the system as old as it is...and with 167K on the meter will freeze your arse out in short order.

I had initial problems at first..and that was due purely to the age of the seals in the system..but if you use they leak stop kit in conjunction with this mod...and you replace the old orifice tube filter with a new one , you should be chillin to beat the band in no time.

None of what I have described is either overly expensive or difficult to do. You just have to have the little toys to deal with Fords A/C and Fuel Line connections to make it happen.

If you system is real screwed up...having it bled down to a proper freon re-cycle machine is in order...and a vacuum down of the system will help a ton.

Good Catch....I neglected to mention that cuz it's been over four flawless years since I performed this ...and it is a big deal in the proper mod process to change out the reciever/dryer.

Im using a variation of R-12 forget the number, ill check, and i just found a place that sells O-rings and spring locks for the AC line connections, along with accumulators. I found a leak at the one compressor joint and ford discontinued the compressor to condensor line. Check out this website, www.fjcinc.com you can buy a individual o-rings, a ford 81-up car kit, or an assortment, im buying the assortment kit, non-metric, sizes #6,8,10,12 o-rings and spring locks, if i remember right there is 2 o-rings per jiont.

I have never had a problem with 134..I changed my 1984 F350 truck over around 7 years ago and it will freeze you out of the truck at the colorado river in July..just remember its 80% of R12..so 36 oz (three cans)in T/C system is enough

I evacuated and recharged my '87 TC about 3 years ago with a product called Freeze 12. Has worked very well. No problems to date. David (Ala.)
