Quick timing question

I did a search and saw timing should be set at about 12*, but is that 12* above the ATC mark on the cover or at 12* above the TC mark on the timing cover?

That should be 10 to 12* BTc, toward the top of the scale marker, above the TC mark, not the bottom. Be sure to remove the sprout when adjusting the timing, then replace it when through
