Question for Pete - pcv valve

Pete, why are you so emphatic about using only the Ford pcv valve?

Many other brands of PCV do not block boost from getting past it and into the crankcase where the pressure build up can cause seals and gaskets to blow. Said parts stores will respectfully decline to pay for repairs. BTDT, thankyou AutoZone

Thank you for that info!!! I had no idea. I'm glad I asked because I seldom buy OEM parts because of the price. I've always been strapped financially. I've stopped buying the cheapest stuff because I always spend more in the long run because it doesn't last but I always avoid buying OEM because it always just seems overpriced. I try to find a good product for a reasonable price.
