PWR windows

so - i've finally gotten the tire issue solved and now im trying to work on the window issue so when i get home - i can fix it before i move away. anyways - the driver side power window, whne rolled down all the way (hold down the button for longer than needed) the window becomes jammed and it wont roll up. The motor locks up and the only way to get it working again is to take the door apart - pop out the motor and then put it back in again.
I spose there could be worse problems - but i want to fix what i can. does anybody have an idea on how i can go about fixing this?
