I haven't emailed Chris at Englishtown lately to check the schedule, but I know he's got some great stuff planned.

As far as bein ready for the track, well, the dragstrip maybe, for some WOT tuning, but I have a ton to do befor its ready for the road course.

Seems like I have just as much going under the car as what went into the engine bay, just need MORE time!

I can't wait, this should be a fun ride!

That's cool, i did things reverse... i did alot of the suspension work previously when mine was a daily driver, then the head cracked/blown gasket so it was time to make more power... still tuning now so i understand the MORE TIME part. Besides mine looks stock in comparison to yours.

Update!

Got the new lite-weight aluminum driveshaft installed, along with a nice Spec clutch and Fidanza aluminum flywheel with ARP bolts.

Big thanx to Dan (bangforthebuck) and Ben (motormenace) for the great deals.

Reduction in overall weight, reduction in rotating mass, and improved clamping force should all make for a nice performance boost.

Flushed the trans, topped up with fresh fluids, reinstalled the Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, and gave it a brief test.

Shifting is perfect, clutch engagement is perfect, and the engine revs REALLY quickly.

If I floor the pedal in neutral, by the time I hit the floor and let off, its already at 6500rpm.

2 new tires, finish the exhaust, and finish the suspension and brakes... that's all I have let to do now Wink

Gotta find more free time!

Just curious i see you swung the alt out of the way and over and down. Does this work OK just wondering if its a weak point. Have you ran it at high RPM and had no issues Thanks.

Fair question, and one I asked myself before flipping it.

Love the bottom line in your signature by the way...

I haven't had any trouble from it yet.
I have my limiter set at the factory cut-off point, so its never spun past ~6500rpms, but has seen that rpm more than a few times.

There's no distortion in the new support "arm", and judging by the normal oxidation on the hardware, nothin has shifted and left a "clean spot".

I was going to use some ranger parts I have handy, but didn't like the idea of the backside of the alt sitting so close to the header, so this seemed a better solution.

Yes i have the ranger setup and was thinking the same thing. I also like to keep the AC . That's why i asked. This way you can keep the ABS and the AC. Thank you for the info. I never had the GUTS to spin the ALT down. Your build looks great and professional. I spent some real time looking at the photos and its PROFESSIONAL. Keep up the photos,We all learn from others ideas. Thanks and have a good day Sir
