I was wondering if you still had that car. It will be good to see another early TC up and running. If I didn't have 5 cars (and only space for 4 [Image: biggrin.gif] ) I'd think about buying that...keep us up to date on the progress!

Looks like a good solid start for a project, unless the driver side is totally trashed, that is. Pull the dent in the pass door, paint the trim, throw on a a fresh coat of red, and it will at least look great.

From the title of your post, sounds like the motor might burn a little oil?? Good luck with the project.

well when I got it home it was in the street with no distributor, no battery and no positive battery cable . so I took a spare distributor in, grabbed the battery cable form my daily driver , and a used rotor for the dist. timed everything in by eye, it hasn’t run in about 2 years
gave her a few cranks, started right up, and well smoked out my whole neighborhood. then moved the car back her up in the street gave her a lil gas dumped the clutch (leaving two nice marks) and got UP my driveway (ask steveX82 bout my driveway he be able to give you a better opinion)and into the back yard. now she sits again, next to the 88 Tbird Sport of my dads(declared totaled by insurance company), and i will slowly start working on her.

Now to the smoking
When i first bought the car she smoked, so i put a head gasket and such on, changed the PCV valve, and did a visual check, still smokes like a freight train, I guess I have to much blow by or a worn out turbo, even though she spools up nice, he he,. any thoughts?

He He so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
