the brake pedal is non existannt you have to stand on it to stop and both the abs and brake lights are on tech page common issue says ignition is the usual cause.

"Problem: Loss of power braking (car almost impossible to stop), ABS and BRAKE lights come on, AND the oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel gauges all drop to zero when power brakes are lost and BRAKE and ABS lights come on.

Solution: Another easy one. Replace the ignition switch. Also inspect the ignition switch connector for melting, terminals out of position, etc. If the connector is damaged, replace it."

i poured a half quart of brake fluid in it as it was low, as i was adding fluid leved went to fill line then dropped again in ~3-4 seconds (similar to overfilling a funnel) so either theres a hole somewhere that takes a minute to **** fluid everywhere( i started looking under the engine and tires for my half quart) or the system was nearly dry and just needed fluid or its dry and needs a new ignition switch.

88 took 4 small bottles of brake fluid it dosen't seam to leak brake lights went off gauges still don't work so i guess new ignition switch... need to set base idle/tps and timing, premium fuel switch dosen't work has a light but boost gauge stops working and can't hear turbo spooling. also was blowing the fuel pressure regulator hose off under boost and another mini vac line(zip ties till i get to napa). plugs wires n rotor/cap. and something else i'm forgetting.

hood is on the 85 and intercooler need to lower the hinges ~ 1/8" but the intercooler and hood line up perfectly without the valve cover and upper from the 88. the nipple on my boost controller broke off so i'm back to 10psi got another one coming, gonna see if one of the instructors can tig weld(aluminum) the nipple back on.

waiting for a rebuild kit and clutch for the t5 swap. also gotta fix the heater in the 85 temperature control dosen't work get hot only, i think that the door actuator may not have been put back on when that last guy replaced the heater core.
