If you are broke, like I always am, just disconnect them and ask mfor the stock shocks and struts. They work fine. I went to Pep Boys and got the full set for less than it cost me to get 1 PRC. Than just reach behind the seat and unplug the prc system.

What exactly do you mean by "on"? Is it flashing with a regualar pattern, indicating a fault code? If the light is just on all the time, even if the switch is in the AUTO position, you might have a bad FIRM/AUTO switch. The PRC doesnt lower and raise the car, it just alters the damping rate of the shocks / struts. Even if there is a fault in the PRC system, the shocks / struts may still be good.... the electronic PRC system doesnt know anything about the shape the shocks are in. IMO, the PRC system is one of the things that make these cars unique, and is worth fixing if the problem is electrical, which can often be fixed with little $$$ outlay.

There's a good trouble shooting guide in the FAQ section here that'll prolly help you with your decision.

Ummmmm my PRC was broke.....I just looked in the FAQ and used the number of blinks by the light to determin which actuator was bad, went to the JY and fixed my PRC for the grand sum of $3 dollars. It makes a bigg diff in the way the car handles
